Project Description

Free tartan Google Slides theme and PowerPoint template. A stylish template for presentation inspired by the Scottish tartan patterned cloth. Green and black colors.

Tartan template

People strongly associate Tartan with Scottish culture and traditions. Indeed, Tartan was already used centuries ago in Scotland by the Highlanders, for their clothes. Today, the pattern of interlocking stripes in multiple colors is very well-known (mistakenly as “plaid”, which is a large blanket).

Specifically, this “tartan” template showcases a green and black pattern. The background is not a conventional “tartan” pattern design, but rather a variation of it. We played with the squared shapes, to create a checkerboard background. Then, we filled the shapes with different colors (green, black, or white) or patterns (plain or with diagonal stripes).

In addition, we made it editable. For you, there is a double benefit. First, the quality of editable shapes is much better as it doesn’t create any blurry effect. Secondly, that lets you adapt the colors if you need to. Isn’t this nice?

Finally, the presentation theme “Tartan” contains a selection of 6 master slide layouts: title (cover) slide, title and content (2 variants), section (2), and a ‘thank you!’ closing slide. One section slide variant is offered with a picture placeholder. Also, a picture placeholder will let you insert your own photo very easily and nicely above your contact information (on the closing slide).

Shapes are 100% editable: colors and sizes can be easily changed (go to the Slide Master View).

Includes 2 slide option designs: Standard (4:3) and Widescreen (16:9).
